Mohot praner sannidhea
Mohot praner sannidhea (5 Volumes Combined)” is based on the famous biographical work Siyar A'lam al-Nubala by Imam Hafiz Shamsuddin al-Dhahabi, published by Sabujpatra Publications.
Originally a 25-volume Arabic masterpiece containing 5,925 biographies, it was later condensed into a shorter version (Nuzhat al-Fudala) with 993 selected biographies by Shaykh Muhammad Musa al-Sharif. This edition also includes biographies of the four Caliphs from another work of al-Dhahabi.
The book covers a wide range of Muslim figures—companions, scholars, rulers, poets, warriors, and professionals—presenting not just their lives but also critical analysis and historical insights. It highlights moral lessons, personal reflections, and intellectual depth, making it a valuable source of inspiration for readers seeking guidance from exemplary lives in Islamic history.
The translator notes that the book is deeply moving, encouraging self-reflection and motivating readers to strive toward higher spiritual and moral standards.
